We sit down with Isaiah Martin, a Gen Z candidate running for city councilman in Houston. Isaiah shares his background and what inspired him to run for office, as well as his proposals to address the biggest issues facing Houston, such as racial and economic inequality and climate change. As a member of Gen Z, he brings a unique perspective on the city's diversity and immigrant population. He also discusses how Houston can mitigate the effects of the pandemic and promote equity and inclusion. Lastly, Isaiah shares a message for young people looking to get involved in politics.
